Twirl

Prototype development for Still Moving Exhibit, May 2022, Rome.

TWIRL is an object inspired by nature. Curved wooden shapes cut the space and generate new environments, it’s one single element containing many perspectives.

The wooden panels, delimited on the ground by marble and travertine shapes, spin, creating imaginary architectural environments, designed by Manuela Tognoli.

The dynamic structure interacts and merges with “Close Out”, the wallpaper designed by Daniela Pinotti: a vigorous green wave that invades the environment, bringing in clean air.

Twirl was born from the close collaboration of a Textile designer and an Architect, who interact with each other's design world, creating a cross-functional object.
